Heritage par Laulhere French Berets
The House of Laulhère was created in 1830 by Lucien Laulhère, and created its first berets in 1840. Heritage par Laulhere French Berets have been highly regarded ever since for their quality and fashionable flair. A symbol of France, Laulhere French berets showcase ancestral heritage in a top-quality product handmade by artisans. Laulhere preserves the traditional beret while continuing to modernize it and keep it fashion-forward. In 2013, the House of Laulhère was recognized with the labels Origine France Garantie (French Origin Guaranteed) and Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company). Heritage par Laulhere French Berets were originally created using hand-knitted wool thread in a complex process requiring a specific number of stitches. Currently, the knitting part of the French beret is mechanized, reproducing as accurately as possible the action of the original looms designed at Laulhère.
