I have been a customer of DelMonicos for decades. I have purchased a few of their fine fur fedoras and a previous Panama hat. Everything that I have bought is of truly outstanding quality. So recently I decided to invest in one of their finest Panama hats, the Borsalino medium brim extra-fino. It should be noted that there are as many definitions of extra-fino as there are hat stores. But given my prior experience with DelMonico I opted for their Borsalino. It arrived very quickly and well packed. Upon examination I would say that it is the very finest Panama hat that I have ever seen. The weaving is incredibly fine, and tight, the rows are extraordinarily parallel. Clearly this hat had been woven by a master of his trade. The shaping and trimming by Borsalino was far beyond expectations. Panama hats can cost upwards of $7000, and in my opinion this hat could hold its place amongst any of them. I cannot recommend DelMonicos and Borsalino enough,; they are truly extraordinary.

Just pulled the trigger for my Borsalino Panama medium - brim bleached white hat. It’s really a beautiful hat. Excellent quality, perfect fit and of course the overall borsalino shape always stands out from the rest no matter straw or felt. Can’t wait to style my hat.
